Botanical Hues

Hi everyone! Before, I begin, I just wanted to mention that last Friday, the 27th of February, marked my blog’s fourth year anniversary! Thank you all for continuing with me on this little journey and online diary and creative outlet.
Now, I know some of you may be tired of reading that, again, it’s been quite a while since I last posted, and while being busy with college work is one excuse, another is that I like to save up on creativity and only post when I believe I’m ready with some quality content. I could post something hasty and low in quality everyday, or I could save up and post something, which I consider, somewhat strong every now and then. And of course, the latter takes the cake.

For today’s outfit, I was inspired by the unusual color combinations and prints that were evident in some of the shows for this fashion week season. I’ve spotted plenty of 70’s inspired pleats, fringes, suede and a heavy dose of camel tones. One of my favorite shows this season is definitely Gucci, which featured the new creative director Alessandro Michele’s debut collection. Although it’s not exactly very new, he was still able to revive the brand with some personality. I also really liked the Burberry Prorsum fall 2015 Ready-To-Wear collection as well as the Matthew Williamson Fall 2015 Ready-To-Wear collection from London Fashion Week. I’m still going through the other shows, but so far, these won my heart. I’ll let you guys enjoy this outfit, and thank you for visiting!
