Menswear Monday: Milan Minute

Wow, two weeks already passed since I launched this new Menswear Monday series – and we’re already in October, how did that happen? I don’t know if it’s just me, but this yearly surely flew quickly. That could be both something good and scary. Anyway, as I mentioned before, I’m still rather unfamiliar with the men’s world of fashion, but slowly I’m breaking the wall and starting to become accustomed with good quality yet affordable brands.

For today’s outfit, I initially wanted to incorporate two of my favorite colors for fall: mustard and forest green. The former failed to make the cut since it could be rather tricky trying to compose men’s outfits in bright colors. Instead, I matched a pair of forest green chinos to a sky blue shirt. This way, there’s a hint of fun going on with a composed and classy demeanor. When looking at Milan menswear street style for inspiration, they usually are dressed in fun, quirky attire that still maintains an elegant appeal, hence the title. I hope you guys like this outfit!
