New Year’s Outfit: Polished to Party

Hi everyone! I hope you had a lovely time with your families/loved ones/friends during Christmas. I spent my day almost like every other Christmas: watching Home Alone 2 (it never gets old) and enjoying a good Nutella waffle. As I’m writing this, I’m simultaneously studying for my last final for this semester which is tomorrow. But, I wanted to continue the little series of ‘New Year’s Outfits’ to infuse some inspiration in you guys for your end-of-the-year looks – so I thought of posting the second look today. I found this very pretty MLV glitter dress while browsing Revolve the other day, and thought I had to style it right away with a bunch of silver accessories and jewelry. The result is a polished look, yet abundant in sparkle and definitely makes a statement.
 
On another note, me and my best friend won a little dance competition to meet Hadia Ghaleb recently, and we, along with seven other winners, went on a shopping spree where we and the rest of the winners each won an entire outfit styled by her. I have to say, she immediately understood my fashion taste and even gave me some invaluable styling tips.
