Menswear Monday: Superman Colors

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all great! Like I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been getting quite busy lately. This week I have midterms and I’ve taken up some side projects to work on – something I would have never done in the past. I was always very picky when it came to making decisions or choices in general, but I’ve changed that habit and learned to take any chances that come my way. I see it as a way to grow and develop and learn what works best for you and what doesn’t. Plus, you never know where they might lead you! Hopefully I’ll reveal some things quite soon, so stay tuned. ;)

Anyway, for today’s look, I decided to style a rather casual menswear outfit. My taste in menswear is usually very classic, with oxfords and buttoned up shirts and sometimes a satchel. This time, I composed a laid back, down-to-earth outfit which consists of…jeans! Yes, I try to avoid jeans as much as possible in the outfits I style, not only on my blog, but in real life. I feel like they’re very mainstream, making everyone look the same with blue pants down under. Of course, every now and then I do wear them, but for the most part, I like to play around with pants in different neutral tones, like browns and khakis. To get back to this outfit, I focused mainly on navy and wine red, which somehow ended up reminding me of Superman, hence the title.
