Model Off Duty

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing good. I’m personally doing great. Things have been getting very busy for me this month, but not hectic. I actually enjoy having a ton of things to do and then organizing everything down on paper. Just like how people may get energy from socializing or playing their favorite sport, I get my energy from sitting in my room and working hours on end (hehe). This could be anything from college assignments to the blog (which has brought me so many opportunities and for that I am extremely grateful!). And that brings me to today’s post – the model off duty look.

 

We all know how hectic fashion month could be. It’s madness for journalists, stylists, models, designers and even bloggers – who are know considered a vital part of the media and press. Models are assigned many different outfits, even during one show alone, and while the designed garments they wear for runway look spectacular, it’s what they wear off duty that really intrigues me. I’ve imagined this look in my head for quite a while, but only now that I put it down on paper (and computer!). It’s a combination of casual, yet sophisticated chic with a punch of personality. She’s series and focused on the runway, but playful backstage yet still maintaining a sleek ambiance.

 

I’m especially fond of the Modalu sky blue tote, which I came across on Instagram and mentally noted that I should style one of their totes some time. I’ve never been a fan of structured and strict-looking bags, I’ve always loved slouchy and soft leather shoulder bags. But somehow, since the only constant in fashion is change, I decided to embrace change and switch my taste in styles every now and then. I fell in love with Modalu’s bags. Despite being structured and defined, they still maintain personality with all the details and colors. With that being said, here’s my attempt at the perfect model off duty look. I hope you guys like it!
