Summertime Candy

There goes another elongated break from the blog – but I’m back (again)! I’m finally done with my freshman year of college, and let me tell you, draining would be an understatement. Whether it be living two hours away from college and waking up 5 AM every day, or arriving at 8 PM on most days and not having energy to do anything but jump to sleep – I’d say I survived and am glad I did. People would say this is college and we should get used to it, but no, I don’t agree. I’m pretty sure there’s away to make everything run smoothly and balance work, family and college – I just haven’t found that way yet.

Anyway, rant aside, it’s been awhile since I’ve comprised an outfit and I’m feeling a bit rusty at the moment, but I’m so glad I’m slowly recovering and can’t wait to make more outfits. :D Today’s outfit is unashamedly inspired by the explosion of soft, pastel colors and summertime brights that we’ve been bombarded by as of late. A mixture of that and some of the festive fashion that crawled in all social networks alike – and you get this outfit. Let me know what you guys think! :)
