Handmade: Sequined Envelope Clutch

It has been almost a year since I have last posted any handmade clutches. Truth is, I’ve stopped since the last clutch I ever made and I wasn’t motivated for a long time. My mind is rotating with ideas and although I desperately want to execute all of them, I have to be patient since the process could take up to a month and I have to work one clutch at a time.

It’s a very time and energy consuming project, since I don’t own a sewing machine and have to do everything by hand (on the contrary, I think when the clutches are fully handmade, they turn out better and more stable). Anyways, here is one of the last clutches I ever made. This was completed back in 2012. It’s rather different from the usual clutches, since it’s shape like an envelope. It was tricky to sew, but I finished it nonetheless. What do you guys think of it? :)
