Yellow Lubna

My sisters often call me ‘Yellow Lubna’ because most of my clothes are, well, yellow. My PJs, scarves, cardigans and even bedding are all yellow – a color I can’t help but gravitate towards ever since I was little. One of my favorite shades of yellow has to be mustard – which I had used in past outfits here, here and here. I thought of using the shade again in today’s outfit but with forest green – something I would’ve never come up with years ago.

I used accessories from Boticca, an online luxury bazaar which I had acquainted you with before. For a quick recap, they curate excellent handmade and crafted pieces by designers all around the world. They’re not necessarily high end or famous – but they sure are prudent in their work and innovative. I am always inspired by the beautiful handmade pieces there, and I always get the urge to start designing and sewing clutches again like I used to. My favorite designers hands down have got to be Lamprini (jewelry designer from Greece) and Poupee Couture (bag designer from UAE). Below are some of my favorite pieces by both designers.
